Are there side effects of IV vitamin (Nutritional) therapy?
With IV Vitamin Therapy, side effects are infrequent and minimal. The most common side effect is irritation at the IV insertion site. Some people may experience a sensation of warmth and flushing during treatment or have the taste of vitamins in their mouth shortly after the infusion. Though high doses of vitamins are more easily tolerated through IV Vitamin Therapy than oral vitamin supplements, it is a good idea to start with lower doses and work your way up to minimize discomfort or sensitivity. There is a very low risk of serious adverse side effects.
How long does an IV infusion treatment take?
Since everyone's body is different, every treatment can take a different amount of time. Treatments are usually between 45 mins to an hour depending on the infusion. We ask that you allow at least an hour to receive any Quench IV infusion service.
What happens when I come in for a treatment?
A Quench clinical team member (RN/NP) will conduct an assessment to include checking your blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oximetry, heart rate, current medications, allergies, medical history, and COVID screening. After ensuring that an IV treatment is safe and appropriate for you, the nurse will discuss your current symptoms and treatment goals with you. She will then mix your IV bag and begin the infusion via a soft flexible catheter inserted either into your hand or your arm.
How often can I get IV infusions?
The frequency of infusions depends on the body's hydration status and its demands on nutrients. A medical professional will consult with you and make a recommendation regarding the frequency of IV treatments based on your health history and individual needs. Most of our clients see results after 1-3 days following the infusion.
What is your new client procedure?
As a new patient you will be required to complete an online clinical intake form at the time of booking your appointment. Additionally, you will need to complete consent forms for treatment. All forms are to be completed prior to your infusion treatment.
What safety precautions are in place for COVID-19?
Our highest priority is the safety of our clients. Quench practitioners are required to wear face masks at all times and to wash their hands before and after infusion treatments. In accordance with social distancing regulations, there will be only two clients allowed at a time in the treatment room. Partitions will be used for privacy and added protection. Clients will be provided single use face masks to use during treatment.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept health insurance. We do accept Paypal, Venmo, Visa, MasterCard, America Express and CareCredit. By not accepting insurance, we are able to keep our overhead down and pass those savings to you in the form of lower prices.
Can I schedule a same-day appointment?
Same-day appointments are available by request.
If your requested date and time is not available through our scheduler, please email support@quenchinfusions.com so we can determine how we can accommodate your need.
